Privacy at TalaStack
This page covers this website. Each app we publish has its own policy covering what that app does, because the answers are different.

The short version. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds nothing from a third party and builds no profile of you. The only personal data we ever hold from this site is what you type into the contact form or put in an email to us.
Who we are
TalaStack LLC is a limited liability company registered in Michigan, United States, and is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at hello@talastack.com.
What this website collects
From simply reading it, nothing that identifies you. There is no analytics script, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no third-party video embed, no third-party fonts and no comment system. Every typeface, image and video is served from this domain, so loading a page here does not tell anyone else that you did.
The one place the site takes anything from you is the contact form, and only if you fill it in.
Cloudflare does add one small script of its own to every page, served from this domain rather than fetched from anywhere else. Its only job is to scramble the email addresses printed here so that automated harvesters have a harder time collecting them, and to unscramble them again for you. It measures nothing and reports nothing. It is on because published support addresses attract a great deal of junk, and the side effect is that if you browse with JavaScript turned off you will see [email protected] where an address should be. The contact form still works in that case, and it reaches the same inbox.
The contact form
It asks for your name, your email address, what the message is about, and the message itself. All four go into an email to us and nothing else happens to them. There is no database behind the form and no record is kept beyond that email, which lands in the same mailbox as everything else.
The form posts to a small program of ours running on Cloudflare’s network, which validates what you sent and hands it to Cloudflare Email Routing for delivery. It reaches no third-party form service, no marketing platform and no customer relationship tool, because we do not use any.
Alongside your message we record the time it arrived and the two-letter country code Cloudflare attaches to the request, which helps when judging whether something is a real enquiry or automated spam. We do not store your IP address and we do not attempt to identify you beyond what you typed.
Using it is entirely optional. Every page that carries the form also shows the email address, and writing directly reaches exactly the same inbox.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes the request itself (your IP address, the page you asked for, your browser's user agent) in order to deliver the page and to protect the service from abuse. We do not add analytics on top of that, we do not receive a per-visitor report, and we do not combine it with anything else.
Cookies
This site sets none. If your browser shows a cookie for this domain, it came from Cloudflare's own security layer, not from us.
If you write to us
Email to any @talastack.com address is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a mailbox we read. We keep what you send, whether it came through the form or straight from your own email, for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of support history. We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not run one.
The apps
Our applications are separate products with their own privacy policies, because an app that stores your data on your phone raises different questions than a static web page does. The current one:
Across every app we build, the same commitments hold: no advertising, no advertising identifiers, no cross-app or cross-site tracking, and nothing sold or shared with data brokers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. In practice that applies to messages you have sent us, whether through the form or by email. Write to hello@talastack.com and we will answer.
Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Because the site collects nothing, a change here would most likely mean we had started to, and we would say so plainly rather than editing this page quietly.
