Support
Something wrong? Write to us.
There is no ticket portal and no chatbot. Support goes to a mailbox a person reads, and that person is the one who wrote the code.
We answer within two business days, and usually the same day. If more than a week has gone by with no reply, the message did not arrive — send it again, or try hello@talastack.com.
What to include
None of this is required, but it turns a round trip of questions into a fix:
- Which app, and the version number from its Settings screen
- Your device and OS version — iPhone 14, iOS 18.5 is plenty
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
- A screenshot, if there is anything to see
Please do not send passwords, and there is never a reason for us to ask for one.
Per app
ReefChronicles
Reef aquarium logbook for iPhone, in development. If you are testing a build and something is wrong — a dose that looks off, a consumption rate that does not match what you see, a reading that will not save, a sync that will not settle — that is exactly what we want to hear about.
For anything involving a number, include the tank, the parameter, your effective volume, and the product you dose with its potency. A wrong dose is nearly always a wrong volume or a wrong potency, and those four facts usually settle it in one reply.

Accounts and data
Every app we build can be used with no account at all. Where an account exists, it is optional and it exists to back up and sync your own data. You can delete it from inside the app, which removes what is stored on our servers, and you can export your full history to CSV at any time without asking us for it.
If you cannot get to the delete option — a lost phone, for instance — write to support@talastack.com from the address on the account and we will do it for you.
Billing
Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store, not by us. We never see your card details. Refunds and cancellations go through Apple — reportaproblem.apple.com — because that is the only place they can be actioned. If something about a purchase looks wrong on our side, tell us and we will look.
Security
If you have found a vulnerability in an app or on this site, write to security@talastack.com with enough detail to reproduce it. We will confirm receipt, keep you posted, and credit you if you want the credit. Please give us a reasonable window to fix it before publishing.
